Wat is Priesteres?
Some people may see priestessas a spiritual identity you take on , a title you carry.
That is not how we see it.
Priestessing is a verb.
It is the woman who is willing to listen.
The woman who takes responsibility for her influence.
For her voice, love and medicine.
Throughout history, priestesses devoted themselves to that which they experienced as sacred.
They served a Goddess or God.
Some were connected to temples, sacred springs, holy mountains or sacred fires.
They were keepers of ritual and rites of passage, tending the living relationship between humanity and the Mystery.
Today, we live in a different time.
A time in which each of us is free to discover how the Divine reveals itself to us.
For one woman, it lives in the Goddess.
For another, in the Earth.
In love.
In beauty.
In truth.
In nature.
In community.
In life itself.
That is why, for us, priestesshood is not about following one particular religion or tradition.
It is about the willingness to place yourself in service to that which is truly sacred to you.
That which you are willing to stand for.
That which you are willing to care for and take responsibility for.
A priestess lives in relationship with the Mystery, and the Divine.
She listens.
She serves.
She tends.
She remembers.
She does not have all the answers.
But she is willing to align her life with something greater than herself.
For some, that will be God.
For others, the Goddess.
For others still, the Earth, Love, Life, the Ancestors, or the generations yet to be born.
The form may differ.
The essence remains the same.
A priestess is in service to what she holds sacred.
To that through which the Divine longs to move.
And she understands that personal healing is never only personal.
That everything she heals, loves and liberates ripples outward
through her family,
her community,
and the generations that will come after her.

PATH OF THE
PRIESTESS
Remember who you are...
A path of remembering the ancient knowing we have forgotten, sacred sisterhood, and embodied wisdom.

Online school of
Rememberance

Brave woman,
Can you feel it?

Can you feel it?
In the beating of your heart.
In the marrow of your bones?
In that quiet longing that keeps returning.
In that deep knowing that there is more
than surviving, achieving,
and holding yourself together.
As if something within you is waiting to awaken.
Something ancient.
And at the same time,
something the future needs.
There are ways of knowing that cannot be found in books.
A knowing that lives in the body.
In the earth.
In ritual.
In stories.
In the wisdom of the women who came before us.
A knowing that was passed down through generations, around the fire, within the circle, through birth, loss, transition and celebration.
Much of this knowing was forgotten because it was no longer passed on. There were times when it became too dangerous to speak of it. Too dangerous to practise it.
And yet, it is still alive.
In you.
Like a whisper.
It is time to shed the layers of guilt, fear, shame and centuries of conditioning.
To discover what has been waiting underneath all along.
Waiting to be remembered.

Do you hear the call?
The Path of the Priestess is for women who feel this remembering calling them.
Because they sense that their lives are asking for more truth.
More embodiment, depth and meaning.
A deeper connection to that which is truly sacred.

Our Spirals
During this initiation journey, we travel through seven portals.
Seven spirals.
Each spiral opens a different layer of your being, inviting you to remember, heal and embody a part of yourself that may have been forgotten.
We work with ancient archetypes, living forces that exist within every woman.
Each archetype carries both a medicine and a shadow.
Because when an archetype is not fully lived or embodied, it falls out of balance.
And then, what could be her greatest gift can become her greatest challenge.
.

More about the archetypes
Life Happens to Her
The Maiden is the wild current of life itself.
In her healthy expression, she moves with the magic of being alive. She trusts her intuition, her curiosity and her capacity for wonder.
She allows herself to be carried by the waves without losing herself in them.
She embodies magic, rebellion and sisterhood.
She refuses to be put into boxes.
She follows the call of her heart and does not wait for permission.
She knows how to connect.
Her Shadow
When the Maiden is out of balance, she forgets that she is a co-creator of her life.
Life begins to feel as though it is simply happening to her.
As though other people determine how she feels.
As though happiness is something you either have or you don’t.She searches for validation and rescue.
She waits for the perfect moment that never comes.
She hides her magic in order to belong.
She stops dreaming because dreaming can hurt.
Where there was once wonder, cynicism grows.
Where there was once sisterhood, comparison takes its place.
Where there was once playfulness, insecurity appears.
Her Medicine
Her medicine is responsibility.
The remembering that she is not simply a drop being carried along by the river of life.
She is part of the current itself.
Life Happens Because of Her
The Mother is the great creative force.
She has the power to bring life to everything she touches.
Projects.
Relationships.
Communities.
Dreams.
She is the sacred YES.
The YES to life.
The YES to love.
The YES to embodiment.
She is the active, life-giving force of existence.
In her healthy expression, she nourishes.
Herself and the world around her.
She knows the difference between giving from abundance and giving from emptiness.
She understands that self-love is not a luxury, but a responsibility.
Where she goes, things grow.
Her Shadow
When the Mother is out of balance, she forgets herself.
She gives and keeps giving, long after her own well has run dry.
She feels responsible for everyone’s happiness.
For everyone’s emotions.
For everyone’s wellbeing.
She becomes addicted to being needed.
And slowly, without even realising it, her love can become a form of control.
She no longer knows how to receive.
She becomes exhausted.
Overwhelmed.
Bitter.
And sometimes, resentment begins to grow towards the very people she has given so much to.
Her Medicine
Her medicine is receiving.
Learning that she, too, is worthy of the love she so freely gives to others.
That she, too, belongs within the circle of her own love.Life Responds to Her
Where the Mother is the sacred YES, the Warrior is the sacred NO.
Two forces.
Both essential.
In her healthy expression, the Warrior protects what is sacred to her.
Her boundaries do not come from fear.
They come from love.
She knows what she stands for and what she serves.
She knows what is no longer welcome.
Her NO is not a rejection.
It is an act of self-respect.
An act of love.
An act of truth. The Warrior fully inhabits herself.
She does not live from her mind alone, but from the deep knowing of her body.
Her Shadow
When the Warrior is out of balance, she forgets what she is truly fighting for.
Her strength becomes armour.
Her truth becomes a weapon.
Her boundaries become walls.
She lives in a constant state of readiness, always preparing for the next battle.
She is no longer fighting for what she loves.
She is fighting against what she fears.
Her Medicine
Her medicine is softening.
Not softness as weakness.
But softness as the remembrance that true strength always remains connected to love.
Life Happens for Her
The Queen understands that everything life brings carries an invitation.
Even loss.
Pain.
Disappointment. She does not look for someone to blame.
She looks for the gold.
She takes what life gives her and turns it into a crown.
What can no longer serve her, she transforms into fertile soil.
The Queen does not live as a victim of her story.
She becomes its author, and its Leading Lady.
She takes responsibility.
Not because everything is her fault.
But because her life is her responsibility.
She embodies feminine leadership.
She understands that true power is not about control.
It is about presence.
Her body is her temple.
Her Shadow
When the Queen falls out of balance, her leadership turns into superiority.
She begins to identify with her success.
With her influence.
With her crown.
She stops listening.
She begins to believe she is further along.
More conscious.
More evolved.
She closes herself off to feedback.
To correction.
To humility.
Slowly, her power turns into control.
Or perfectionism.
She begins to believe that everything depends on her.
That she has to carry it all.
Know it all.
Fix it all.
Her Medicine
Her medicine is humility.
Not making herself smaller.
But remembering that leadership is not a throne.
It is a responsibility.
Life Lives Within Her
The Wise Woman knows that everything is connected.
That light and darkness need one another.
That every wound can become a teacher.
That every encounter carries a mirror.
She does not meet life through judgement.
But through curiosity.
She no longer searches outside herself for all the answers.
She learns to listen to the wisdom that already lives within her.
She knows herself as part of a greater web of life.
Her Shadow
When the Wise Woman falls out of balance, her wisdom becomes distance.
She understands everything.
But she does not live it.
She keeps observing.
Analysing.
Reflecting.
She retreats to the mountaintop of consciousness and forgets to participate in life.
She keeps watching.
But stops choosing.
She keeps understanding.
But stops moving.
Her Medicine
Her medicine is embodiment.
Not simply knowing.
But living what she knows.
Life Changes Through Her
Lady Death is the great liberator.
She who takes away what is no longer alive.
She who teaches us how to die before we actually die.
She invites us to let go.
Of old stories.
Old identities.
Old truths. She looks without judgement at what has come to completion.
And opens the gateway into the unknown.
Every initiation asks for a death.
Every rebirth begins with a goodbye.
Her Shadow
When Lady Death falls out of balance, she loses her trust in rebirth.
She sees only what is dying.
Not what is waiting to be born.
She lets go without allowing herself to love again.
She tears down without rebuilding.
She becomes attached to the darkness.
Or remains in an endless cycle of transformation, never truly landing.
Her Medicine
Her medicine is trust.
The deep knowing that beyond every death, new life is waiting.
Life Moves Through Her
The Priestess is not the final destination.
She is, in many ways, a new beginning.
She is the woman who is willing to become a vessel.
For love.
For truth.
For beauty.
For the Divine. For that which is greater than herself.
In ancient times, a priestess devoted herself to a God or Goddess.
Today, that devotion may take a different form.
But the essence remains the same.
A Priestess is in service to what she holds sacred.
To that through which the Divine longs to move.
She speaks with truth.
She keeps learning.
She keeps growing.
She keeps listening. She is willing to make herself available.
Her Shadow
When the Priestess falls out of balance, she begins to identify with her role.
With her knowledge.
Her wisdom.
Her spiritual experiences.
She forgets that she, too, is human.
Distance begins to grow between herself and others.
Between herself and her own vulnerability.
The Mystery becomes an identity.
A mask.
But the true Priestess remembers that she is never the Source.
She is a vessel through which it moves.
Her Medicine
Her medicine is humility.
Not making herself smaller.
But remembering that the Sacred moves through her.
It does not belong to her.
And yet, like every living being, she belongs to it.

This path is for you if you...
... long for something deeper.
... feel as though a part of you is waiting to awaken , a part you do not fully know yet.
... sense that there is a wisdom within you that cannot be found in books.
... long for a deeper relationship with the Earth.
... no longer want to live according to the expectations of others, but from the truth of who you are.
... long for a community of women willing to truly meet one another, in both light and shadow.
... have the courage to meet yourself beyond the masks you wear.
... long for more beauty, meaning and soul in your life.
... sense that your sensitivity is not a burden, but a gift you are learning to understand and embody.
... want to learn how to listen to dreams, symbols and synchronicities.
... feel called to become a bridge between ancient wisdom and the world we live in today.
... long for a spirituality that does not float above life, but is deeply rooted within it.
... no longer want to make yourself smaller to keep others comfortable.
... want to discover the unique medicine you carry.
... are ready to take responsibility for your place within the web of life.
... feel that it is time to become the woman your younger self needed you to be.
... long for a life guided not by fear, but by love.
... want to become an ancestor of the future.
... feel that the Priestess already lives within you, and is waiting for you to finally welcome her home.

Avalon
For those who feel the call, the journey culminates in an optional Initiation Journey to Avalon. (Glastonbury, England) We will be making the pilgrimage from Glastonbury into Avalon.
The final step of a magical journey that has been unfolding for months.
Glastonbury is a small town in Somerset, yet for many, it is so much more than that.
For centuries, people from all over the world have journeyed to this place, drawn by the palpable sense of magic that seems to rest within the land itself.
A landscape steeped in myth and legend, from dragons, ley lines and Goddesses to King Arthur, the Grail and Mary Magdalene.
According to old traditions and legends, this was also a place where priestesses were initiated, where they studied the Mysteries and served the temples.
Whether these stories belong to history or legend, their echoes still seem to linger in the landscape.
Many experience Glastonbury as a place where ancient wisdom can still be felt.
Glastonbury is often described as a place that seems to exist outside ordinary time and space.
For generations, pilgrims have travelled to this sacred land in search of healing, answers, or a deeper connection with themselves.
It is a place where the veil between the visible and invisible worlds can feel exquisitely thin.
And from Glastonbury, we journey through the mists into Avalon.
Avalon is not only a place.
It is a state of consciousness.
An inner landscape where ancient wisdom, remembrance and sacred knowledge still live.
As you walk through the mists of Avalon, it is not the world around you that changes.
It is the way you perceive it.
And what has long remained hidden within you can slowly begin to reveal itself.
You feel the Earth speaking beneath your feet.
The wind seems to carry stories from times long forgotten.
And somewhere deep within you,
something ancient is touched.

Tribe

When you walk the Path of the Priestess, the journey does not end with the final module.
The Priestess Tribe was born from a deep longing to stay connected, to continue remembering, learning and growing together.
A living circle of women who continue to hold, inspire and remind one another of who they truly are.
What began as a quiet longing shared by a handful of women has grown into a powerful community of more than one hundred Priestesses. Women from every circle since 2014, connected by a shared path and a shared heart.
And every year, the circle continues to grow.
A Tribe is so much more than a community.
It is a place where you do not have to keep explaining who you are.
A place where you can land.
Where you are seen, especially in those moments when you may have lost sight of yourself.
Together, we walk ancient sacred places in the Netherlands and far beyond.
We celebrate the turning of the Wheel of the Year and mark the transitions of our lives.
We share rituals.
We sing.
We laugh.
We cry.
We dance.
Sometimes in a small, intimate circle.
Sometimes surrounded by a great gathering of women.
And sometimes, our partners and children join us too.
Because the Path may begin as a personal journey, but it was never meant to be walked alone.

Karen de Blank

Margo goes deep. That is what I value most about her.
A year-long training may have a structure, but Margo is not afraid to adapt in the moment, responding to what is actually needed and what will serve the women in front of her most.
I came for that depth. And that is exactly what I received.
Margo has a remarkable ability to transform a group of individuals into a deeply connected circle in a very short time. From there, the group itself becomes part of the process, supporting each woman as she moves through her own shit.
And Margo doesn’t do things halfway. She will never ask you to give more than you have, but she will ask for commitment.
And when you bring that commitment, you get the fullness of the journey in return.”
What others Say
Ti'i Amatoeloes

Wow… what a journey it has been.
In every module, Margo worked with a different archetype in her own loving, authentic, and sometimes beautifully confronting way. The Maiden, Mother, Warrior, Queen, and Wise Woman. And finally, the initiation in Avalon.
Every time I thought, “This is it. I’ve gone as deep as I can.”
And every time, Margo gently invited me to go just one layer deeper.
I met parts of myself I had never truly seen before. My light, but also my shadows. I cried, laughed, let go, and made decisions that completely changed the course of my life. Some were difficult. Some were painful. Yet every single one of them brought me closer to who I truly am.
What made this journey so special wasn’t only the teachings, but the incredible sense of safety. I never felt pushed. There was space for everything that wanted to emerge. Together with the space holders, Margo created a container where I felt safe enough to be completely honest with myself—and, because of that, with the women around me.
This training didn’t teach me how to become a priestess.
It helped me remember who I have always been.
And perhaps that is the greatest gift of the Path of the Priestess. It doesn’t turn you into someone else, it gently guides you back home to yourself.
Dear Margo, thank you for your love, your wisdom, your gentleness, and your remarkable ability to hold up a mirror at exactly the right moment. And thank you to all the space holders and the incredible women I had the privilege of walking this path with.
This journey didn’t end when the training ended.
I carry it with me every single day.
Marianne vd Haak

“I no longer feel like the same woman after walking the Path of the Priestess.
Something profound has happened. Something has transformed. Something has been remembered.
I remembered who I am.
I remembered what I came here to do.
Ancient knowledge has come alive within me. A deep inner knowing.
I have come home.
So much old weight has fallen away. Through this deep inner journey, I truly feel as though I have died and been reborn.
For now, so much of the fear seems to have fallen away.
The fear of what others think of me.
The fear of judgement and rejection.
The fear of not belonging.
The fear of not having enough…
But above all, the fear of my own power.
That may have been the greatest fear of all.”
Wendy Brugman

“The Path of the Priestess has changed my life in a profound and beautiful way. It took me into the deepest layers of myself and taught me to take responsibility for my own life. No more excuses, but the courage to fully embrace my power.
What makes this path so special is that you learn to welcome all of who you are , your strength and your vulnerability, your beauty and your fears. Everything is allowed to belong, because together, it makes you the unique woman you are.
I also experienced the power of true sisterhood: women holding, supporting and encouraging one another without judgement, so that each woman can fully be herself.”

How I work

Hey Sister, I am Margo. For the past 25 years I have been guiding women on the path of remembering, and since 2009 on the Path of the Priestess,
I don’t work with a fixed programme or a script.
I work from the field.
I listen to what wants to happen, rather than deciding what should happen.
A programme is a line you follow, but a field is alive.
It begins to breathe the moment you step into it. It shifts with the women who enter, with what remains unspoken, with the history each woman carries with her.
But also with the land.
The trees.
The unexpected inspiration that suddenly asks to move through.
As a Priestess, I move with that field, the way water moves with the riverbed it has shaped over time.
Not because there is no structure.
I have spent years building the rituals, thresholds and containers that can hold a process.
But the structure is a vessel, not a prescription.
What happens within it is never mine.
It is older than I am.
There is a kind of knowing that does not come through thought.
It lives in my bones.
In those places beneath the skin that language cannot reach.
I did not learn this knowing.
I remembered it.
Perhaps the deepest work of my own path has been to release everything that stood between me and that knowing.
When I step into the field, I become a channel.
It is not a role I put on.
It is what remains when I stop trying to direct what happens and allow something to move through me.
My task is to stand within that field without fear,
so that what wants to emerge can speak for itself.

Signing up?
Sister, only sign up if you feel a deep YES.
This is not a path you simply come to experience for a while.
It is intense.
Raw.
Real.
It invites you to truly meet yourself, including the parts you may have preferred to keep hidden.
To move through your resistance.
To meet your truth.
To be fully present with whatever arises.
That is why this path asks for commitment.
Not because it sounds interesting or like something you might want to try someday.
But because something deeper within you knows:
I am meant to be here.
This is mine to do.
I am ready to say YES.
