Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the services, retreats, trainings, workshops, ceremonies, events, mentoring, and website provided by Wild and Sacred Woman, operated by Margo Awanata ("we", "us", "our").
By booking, purchasing, attending, participating in, or accessing any of our offerings, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
Participants must be at least 18 years old unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By registering for any retreat, training, workshop, ceremony, mentoring program, or event, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
3. Bookings and Payments
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required payment or deposit.
Full payment must be received by the payment deadline stated for the relevant offering.
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your booking.
4. Prices
All prices are listed in the currency specified at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to change prices prior to booking confirmation.
Once a booking has been confirmed, the agreed price will not change unless required by law.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.
By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to that policy.
6. Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically, mentally, emotionally, and medically fit to participate in the chosen activity.
You agree to inform us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries, mobility limitations, or circumstances that may affect your participation or safety.
Participation is undertaken voluntarily and at your own risk.
7. Health and Wellbeing Disclaimer
Our retreats, trainings, workshops, ceremonies, mentoring, coaching, spiritual guidance, and personal development offerings are intended for educational, wellbeing, personal growth, and spiritual exploration purposes only.
They do not constitute medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, legal, or financial advice.
Wild and Sacred Woman does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physical or mental health condition.
Participants should seek appropriate professional advice and care where necessary.
8. Personal Responsibility and Spiritual Practices
Participants acknowledge that retreats, ceremonies, workshops, trainings, mentoring sessions, and spiritual practices offered by Wild and Sacred Woman may involve personal reflection, emotional exploration, meditation, ritual, energy work, embodiment practices, group sharing, nature-based practices, and other transformative experiences.
Participation in these activities is entirely voluntary.
Each participant remains fully responsible for their own physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing throughout their participation.
Participants are encouraged to exercise personal judgment and communicate any concerns, limitations, or needs that may affect their participation.
Wild and Sacred Woman does not guarantee specific personal, emotional, spiritual, financial, relationship, or life outcomes as a result of participation in any offering.
Participants understand that spiritual guidance, ceremonial practices, mentoring, and personal development activities are not a substitute for professional medical care, psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, legal advice, or other licensed professional services.
If a participant is experiencing a medical or mental health condition, they are responsible for seeking appropriate professional support and determining whether participation is appropriate for their circumstances.
By participating, each individual accepts responsibility for their own choices, interpretations, actions, and experiences before, during, and after any retreat, training, workshop, ceremony, mentoring session, or event.
Wild and Sacred Woman honours the sovereignty, free will, and personal agency of every participant. All teachings, practices, ceremonies, and invitations are offered as opportunities for exploration and personal growth. Participants are always free to engage at a level that feels appropriate for them and may choose not to participate in any activity without penalty or judgment.
9. Assumption of Risk
Certain activities may involve emotional, physical, spiritual, outdoor, travel-related, or group-based experiences.
By participating, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with such activities.
You agree that Wild and Sacred Woman, its facilitators, assistants, contractors, volunteers, and partners shall not be held liable for injuries, losses, damages, or expenses arising from participation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
10. Travel and Insurance
Participants are responsible for arranging their own:

Personal expenses
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation, medical expenses, repatriation, and personal belongings.
Wild and Sacred Woman is not responsible for travel disruptions, missed flights, lost belongings, illness, weather conditions, or other travel-related issues.
11. Changes to Programs
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to retreat schedules, venues, accommodations, facilitators, activities, or program content where necessary.
Such changes do not automatically entitle participants to a refund.
12. Cancellation by Wild and Sacred Woman
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule a retreat, training, workshop, ceremony, or event due to circumstances including insufficient participant numbers, illness, venue issues, force majeure, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, participants will receive a refund of payments made directly to Wild and Sacred Woman.
Our liability shall be limited to the amount paid directly to us.
We are not responsible for travel costs, accommodation costs booked independently, visa expenses, or any other incidental expenses.
13. Force Majeure
Wild and Sacred Woman shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or modifications caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Fire

Flooding

Pandemics

Epidemics

Government restrictions

Political unrest

Transportation disruptions

Acts of God

Utility failures

Venue closures
In such circumstances, refunds or alternative arrangements may be offered at our discretion.
14. Intellectual Property
All content provided by Wild and Sacred Woman, including but not limited to teachings, course materials, writings, meditations, recordings, graphics, logos, website content, and resources, remains the intellectual property of Wild and Sacred Woman unless otherwise stated.
Such materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, published, modified, or shared without prior written permission.
15. Photography and Media
Photographs, videos, and recordings may occasionally be taken during retreats, trainings, workshops, ceremonies, and events for promotional purposes.
Participants who do not wish to appear in such media must notify us in writing before the start of the event.
We will make reasonable efforts to honour such requests.
16. Website Use
Users agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with website functionality, distribute malicious software, or engage in unlawful activity through the website.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wild and Sacred Woman shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in our offerings or use of our website.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the participant for the specific service or event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
18. Privacy
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you acknowledge and accept our Privacy Policy.
19. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
